GOD IS SOON BRINGING YOUR TRIALS TO AN END – By Luke C Divines

THE THINGS CONCERNING YOU HAVE AN END

“For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, FOR THE THINGS CONCERNING ME HAVE AN END.” LUKE 22:37

I wonder who among us has never thought the adverse things we are going through in life will last for ever in our lifetime. I’m pretty sure this is the reason some of us end up committing or attempting suicide as a way to end life before it ends in our shame. And those of us who still want to live on, resort to sinful ways of survival. Either way, Satan has got many into his trap of loss of hope.

A man who has been jobless for many years despite having attained good education or not, at last decides to purloin or steal in order to survive. He sees no other means of honest living. Finally the Devil has him where he wanted him to be.

THE WOMEN WHO THINK THEY HAVE REACHED THEIR END

The woman who cannot get a job and who finally decides that God is unfair to her by not giving her a job. So as a way to punish God, she decides to sell her body that God gave her, in prostitution for cash to feed and educate the kids and eke out a living.

I was told by a friend that some women service dogs and earn handsomely per month. Just here in Kenya, and I’m sure, around the world. They looked and waited for jobs, got none, and succumbed to pressure for dirty living through unconventional, unnatural means.

Another woman who is born again has prayed and waited for a husband from within the born again church circles as the Bible enjoins. But failing to get one, she breaks God’s requirements, gets yoked to a non believer and gets entangled with a man who will chop off her head after seven or so years of a stormy marriage.

She thought if she kept waiting for a born again husband, she would never marry, while worldly men were all over pestering her daily at work. She gave in only to meet an early death, leaving kids with a murderer. Or the murderer probably burned or hacked her and the kids to death.

Still another woman has looked for a baby for so long in her marriage without success. She decides to help God and her husband, and gets pregnant with another man. When it is discovered, she loses the marriage and keeps the baby, with matters now more complicated than before.

Another in such a situation of childlessness finally cannot stand the ridicule from the hubby, co-wife or society and ends her life in suicide.

Finally the Devil got the above women where he had wanted them from the onset. That was the end game when he made things tough for them. To push them to levels of desperation, make injudicious decisions and take dangerous actions.

I have seen preachers who have walked with God for a long time. They had weathered storms and trials of poverty and want, plus severe trials that came to test their faith. Alas, they finally gave in to easy riches that come through sinful practices. And worse, through witchcraft & charms they manipulated their congregations, politicians or wealthy people, in the guise of praying for them while actually they were just using witchraft.

Majority of preachers who now sell oil and a myriad items for deliverance and “protection” began well. But the Devil finally got them where he wanted them. They failed to pass the test Jesus passed on the Mountain of Temptation when the Devil presented the splendor of worldly wealth and asked for only one favor from Jesus – “worship me”.

I Luke have been in such dire situations but I told the Devil, No. I just decided forward EVER, backward NEVER

SO WHY DO PEOPLE GIVE UP & JOIN IBILISI?

Satan through his assigned demons finally was able to convince the above friends that their TRIALS WOULD NOT COME TO AN END unless they chose his options for them. They succumbed, and finally the Devil had them where he had wanted them to be.

The sad news is that significantly few who succumbed to such pressures ever made it back to God. So whenever you want to give up and follow the Devil’s ways, be warned ahead of time that backsliding is a dangerous road from which many who were led never returned to God.

JESUS OVERCAME TRIALS BECAUSE HE SAW THE END OF HIS TRIALS

Christ had overcome the most fiery trials of Satan on the Mountain. He refused to distrust God by turning stones into bread, tempt God by falling from the pinnacle of the temple, or receive wealth and worldly splendor thru Devil worship. Luke 4

Jesus was hungry during His ministry and at times He lacked even money for tax for Himself and ministry staff. He did not steal, but chose to trust God, and God always provided. At the end of His earthly life He said, “The things concerning me have an end.” His trials ended in His triumphs.

WHAT WAS THE SECRET OF JESUS?

Simple. Jesus through the eye of faith given to all of us after salvation, was able to see the end of his trials from their very beginning.

The Bible says, “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the Throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.

With the final ETERNAL glory and joy set before Him, and with His eyes fixed on ETERNITY, Jesus endured all the shame, trials and ridicule from ungodly people actuated by evil spirits. We need to be like Christ to endure like Christ. And indeed, we having the nature of Christ in us from the New Birth, can endure like Christ with God and His angels ever watching us. Begin to see the glory awaiting your overcoming your trials.

The writer of Hebrews exhorts us to consider Christ as our role model if we want to win over our temptations and trials, because the moment we lose sight of Christ, we’ll fall into Satan’s trap and eat his bait, that our trials will never come to an end unless we select his way and fall for his ungodly proposals for quick relief

“For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” Hebrews 12:3,4.

THE THINGS CONCERNING LUKE DIVINES AND YOU HAVE AN END

Stop thinking that the adverse conditions you are right now enveloped in will never cease. Stop thinking that what you are going through will last for ever. That you’ll die without a baby. That you’ll never marry or remarry after a painful divorce or loss of your hubby through death. Stop thinking that you’ll never get a well paying job and that you’ll never prosper, build a home or educate your children. Begin trusting.

The trials you are facing will not last for ever. They have an end – an end predetermined by the Father. The storms will soon calm down and the dark clouds of fear, uncertainty and hopelessness hanging ominously over your head will soon clear away and dissipate.

THINGS CONCERNING THESE ALSO ENDED.

Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, the Shunnamite woman and others in the Bible were branded barren. They faced years, in fact almost a lifetime of ridicule, and in a way, battling low self esteem due to their permanent condition. They did not resort to the Devil’s means of getting babies. Sarah who tried to help God through Haggar burned her fingers badly and caused serious trouble in her home, a lapse in faith you ought not to follow. Finally God visited them and the things concerning them came to an end – joy and glory at last.

Jabez probably thought his trials might have no end. But when he called upon the God of Israel, they came to an end and he was delivered from the things that had caused him pain and stress for years. 1 Chro 4:10.

Job who thought he would never live again nor see anything close to his previous status, finally got his health and wealth back, plus 140 years bonus to enjoy the double wealth restoration. Job 42. Your sickness, like Job’s, will not end in death. Like Job and the Psalmist, you’ll live and declare the works of the Lord.

Declare DAILY with the Psalmist: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”

The things concerning, Jesus, Job and Jabez and all others came to an end, a glorious end. The things concerning you will come to an end, a glorious end. That troublesome marriage will heal, or God will permit its dismantling, set you free from its prison and grant you another in His time and way. You’ll get a job, your business will prosper and your generation will be mighty upon earth. Psalm 112.

JUST A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE, & YOU’LL SEE END OF YOUR SHAME AND BEGINNING OF YOUR GLORY

HEBREWS 10:35-37;

“Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay.

ENDURING TRIALS IS A PRIVILEGE

James 1:2-4,”Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

“But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

JAMES SAYS, WEAR ATTITUDE OF HAPPINESS IN YOUR TRYING TIMES

James 1:12, “Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.

PETER URGES YOU TO CONSIDER TRIALS NORMAL PART OF LIFE

1 Peter 4:12-15, “Beloved, do not be amazed and bewildered at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test your quality, as though something strange (unusual and alien to you and your position) were befalling you.

“But insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, so that when His glory [full of radiance and splendor] is revealed, you may also rejoice with triumph [exultantly].

“If you are censured and suffer abuse [because you bear] the name of Christ, blessed [are you–happy, fortunate, to be envied, with life-joy, and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of your outward condition], because the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of God, is resting upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. [Isa. 11:2.]

“But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or any sort of criminal, or as a mischief-maker (a meddler) in the affairs of others [infringing on their rights].

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN TRIALS

“Withstand him [Satan]; be firm in faith [against his onset–rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.” 1 Peter 5:9, THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE

The Apostle Peter writing to the believers scattered around the world, said we should NEVER think we are the only ones going through such trying situations. That we should resist, knowing that our other brothers and sisters in Christ around the globe are facing the same or worse trials. But there is hope after standing firm and resisting to the end.

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.” 1 PETER 5:10, THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE
