CORONAVIRUS AND WHAT GOD CANNOT DO. By Luke C Divines

There is nothing new under the sun, said The Preacher.

Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; there is no new thing under the sun.” It might not have have been called by the same name, but it had once existed in some form, was called only by a different name. That’s the case of the Coronavirus today.

Coronavirus COVID 19 is one of the pestilences of the last days as Jesus foretold. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places,” Matthew 24:7.

We do not know how long COVID 19 will continue to kill and how many will have died by the time it is contained. But such a pandemic is certainly one these mass killers mentioned in Revelation just before out Lord returns.

Revelation 6:8, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

Coronavirus Pandemic Is No Less Of A Threat Today Than Bubonic Plague Was Then

Decades ago, Ebola virus erupted in Africa, killing thousands without restraint or cure. The medical world was perplexed.

John G Lake, an American ministering in South Africa, came to the rescue of many. At that time, any contact with an infected person spelt doom. The slightest contact with any secretion from an infected person was all it took for transmission of the bubonic plague. In his own account, John says many people were dying in South Africa and an sir of hopelessness gripped the atmosphere.

Lake, a man fully sold out to prayer and his unrelenting faith, laid a tenacious hold on God’s Word and His healing promises. He decided God was going to have to be the Solution where man in his wisdom had failed. Lake surprised many when with bare hands, he and his team went about cleaning secretions from the victims and healing them completely.. Within a short time, God respected the daring faith of His servant John G Lake, along with his Holy Ghost filled team, and brought to an abrupt end the spread of the deadly virus.

The medical world was perplexed and did not know what to make of this daring act by the preacher, and why he and his team never were infected while assisting doctors during the dreaded bubonic plague outbreak, the doctors with their protection gear and John Lake and his team handling and praying for the victims BARE HANDED.

John Lake’s answer baffled the medics as his actions had left them spinning. He said, “It is the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.” “I have the life of God in me. Every virus that that comes in contact with me dies INSTANTLY. “

John took his challenge further. He asked the doctors and medical experts to take the live bubonic plague germs still FRESHLY foaming from the lungs of a NEWLY DEAD PERSON. They did so and confirmed the living and multiplying viruses.

Then he asked them to put the same deadly foam in THE PALM OF HIS HANDS. He asked them to carefully examine the germs under a microscope. This time there were no more activities. All the bubonic plague viruses WERE DEAD upon contact with him. The germs died INSTANTLY! The energy and presence of God were invisible to the naked eye but magnified by the microscope was able to kill the killer germs.

This is how John G. Lake explained why he and his team did not get sick. He carried the cure in his body and spirit to heal disease through the power of the Spirit through Jesus.

ROMANS 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

In another amazing testimony, John G. Lake asked doctors to bring him a man with inflammation in the bone. He asked them to take their instruments and attach it to his leg while he prayed for healing.

Then he asked them what they saw taking place on their instruments. They replied that every cell was responding positively! John G. Lake replied, “That is God’s divine science!”

THERE IS NOTHING GOD CANNOT DO

In the face of the impossible in human eyes, God still comes out as the only solution.

Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

And he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 18:27

YOU HAVE POWER OVER ALL MANNER OF SICKNESS & DISEASES

In Mathew chapter 10, Jesus called Hid disciples and gave them power over evil spirits, diseases and sicknesses.

Matthew 10:1, “And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”

The power over sicknesses and diseases was not given to the apostles only. While they were still just disciples, they had been given power to heal. If you have believed in the Lord and are saved, you can heal diseases in Jesus name. Coronavirus is a disease like all others over which Jesus gave power.

In the face of this dreaded pandemic which the World Health Organization has declared an international disaster, God’s Word, the power and the name of Jesus alongside medical help, are your hope. Jesus has given out the command. In the face of such a threat, you don’t need to wait for a preacher. You have the power in you.

Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”

The disciples went out, healed many, cast out demons, and returned with joy.

Luke 10:17,19, “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

You, Luke Divines and all who truly believe in Jesus have power over all sicknesses including COVID 19.

Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

John Graham Lake had the faith to handle the infected and healed them. However, you should be wise and follow the advice of not coming into contact with COVID 19 infected people. But you can lay hands on yourself according to Mark 17:18.

Coronavirus also known as COVID 19 is one of the feared powers of the enemy at the moment around the world. The scare and dread are real as medical researchers and scientists are still burning the midnight oil trying to come up with a vaccine.

Israeli researchers gave hope recently when they said they had made great headway in the development of a vaccine. But their closest projected time for the full development is about three months to come. Until then, or should solution come sooner, God will be our solution.

THE CORONAVIRUS FATALITY RATE STANDS AT BELOW 5%. NO SCARE

According to Medical News Today, “Estimates vary, but its mortality rate seems to be between about 1% and 3%“

What it means is that a significantly smaller number of those infected by the COVID 19 succumb. Majority respond to treatment and live.
In a recent report, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention concluded that 80.9% of COVID-19 cases were mild.

So far China, the country of the origin of the coronavirus and so far the worst hit, has recorded only 80,818 cases, out of which 3,177 have died. Coronavirus started in the city of Wuhan

That means only 19% are likely to succumb. The COVID 19 virus is more severe on the elderly and those who have other health conditions like diabetes or asthma, but less severe on children.

Anyone can be infected. Should you, a believer be one of the infected or notice symptoms, as you go into self quarantine and seek immediate medical attention, you can lay hands on yourself, claim God’s healing promises, and get healed. You can be a documented case of what God can do.
In dealing with our current circumstances I would say follow all of the precautions we have been hearing. Let’s wash our hands often and well. Poroperly clean our facilities, and stay home if you are sick. All these are great advice as we put God first and expect His divine cover over us and healing power should one be infected.
