Part One Of A Series

There was a time I was doing ministry in a certain town in our great republic of Kenya. At some point things were not working for me financially. Of all the friends to whom I could run for help, one man stands out. Let me call him John Levis, which of course is not his real name.
John Levis was the CEO of an organization sponsored by some Western missionaries. He had a big house, a church in the compound, two cars, a beautiful wife and lovely kids.
Whenever things were too tough for me in the ways of money and victuals, I would run to my friend who became a brother to me. Whenever I reached out for help, I HARDLY came out empty handed. Once in a while he could not help me, and characteristic of Luke Divines, I understood my friend. I’m not like many who the day you are unable to help them they curse you. I understood my friend
Years later I left that town. Today things are no longer the same for my brother. Many waters have passed under the bridge. The organization crumbled, leaving my brother with court cases. He lost his job, his cars, and is fighting to regain his property the organization seized greedily from him.
My friend has gone through hell on earth. We caught up last year, and since then we’ve been very close. He’s still in the same city. But life is really tough for him
On Thursday 25th August 2022 at 2AM my friend texted me thus: “My brother. Mungu if God blesses you tomorrow, nikumbuke please. Tonight the entire family has slept on empty stomachs. My wife and kids are just weak.”
Unfortunately, on that night I’d slept unusually early – at 9PM – after taking some drugs against what I had correctly guessed was pneumonia. I slept overtime and woke up past 9AM!
Looking at my phone I saw some “Confirmed” message. Some sheep had sent some tithe! I thanked God and knew my immediate problems were solved! But the moment I saw my friend’s SMS above, I didn’t think twice. I sent it ALL to my friend at 10AM. Unfortunately he’d left his phone in the house and did not see the miracle until 2PM. He later responded 👇
“May God bless you my brother. Sometimes words are not enough for this. Let me buy some food. My little had daughter fainted at school. Haya majaribu yataisha. May God remember you.”
DOES GOD REMEMBER & REWARD?
Yes He does. This man had planted seeds in my life that God had recorded, remembered, and was now rewarding. I have been of help to him financially several times. But no help can be enough.
TODAY in your life you may not be able to help even a frog financially, living in absolute penury. and you could be like my friend John Levis. You helped people who may not remember what you did for them. You prayed for ungrateful people who may never pray for you today.
But there’s a God in heaven Who records, remembers and rewards. He will remember your good deeds and reward you through some people you helped, or as it happens more often, through complete strangers
Times may come when you are unable to pray like you did years, months or weeks ago. You may have gone to all the prayer mountains in the country, all prayer centers and bushes in Nairobi. Some people could be living today, women giving suck, relatives healed, and many employed today – all courtesy of your prayers
However, today you could be confined in a sick bed. Weeks come and go. You cannot pray much. You cannot read the Bible as much as you did before. The pains do not allow you to concentrate on God & His Word.
Does God remember your prayers that you planted in the lives of others? Did God record? Will God reward? I say yes to all the questions!
Known or unknown to you, God has commanded some people to pray for you and even fast. God remembers the prayers you planted.
She Traversed The Breadths & Lengths Of Nairobi City, Praying
I know a woman of God who in the over two years I have known her, prayed and fasted in every prayer place in the City. I have never known any woman who prayed and fasted so much for so long in so many places in so long a period of time.
But for the past two or so weeks, she’s been bedfast in a hospital abroad fighting a deadly form of cancer, which she never knew she had or knew she would ever have.
Two months before flying abroad, she had gone through the worst demonic attacks on her health and her kid’s. At times spending three to four weeks in a hospital.
Does God remember her prayers which have saved the lives of many, some of whom I know? Did God record her tears in His bottle? Will God reward her previous prayers for people? She needs divine healing above all things at the moment. Can God be trusted to heal her?
Once again I say, Yes to all the questions above. God has used our prayer Network to stand with her in prayer nonstop for all these past months and weeks, when she could not pray for herself. God has used us.
As a result, what God has done in her life so far, using doctors and going beyond doctors, is beyond words. She’d lost all hope. Now she has regained all hope. From agreeing with death to now disowning death & embracing the life of Christ that He dispenses in abundance. John 10:10
God has enough people He has lined up to pray for you when you come to that place where the spirit is willing but the flesh is either weak or sick. He can be trusted. He has immaculate records.
